Acquisition of the “Iron Foundry Nürnberg-Mögeldorf” by the brothers Georg and Christian Decker.

Start of electric steel production and renaming of company to “Gebrüder Decker Eisen- und Stahlgießerei”.

Start of production of cast bases for benches and production of finished benches.

Start of spheroidal graphite production.

With the acquisition of Bäuml pickling systems, the cornerstone of plant manufacturing for surface processing is laid.

Mechanisation of moulding shop for large work pieces (10 t GG / 3 t GS and GGG) with 100% recycling of moulding sand.

Construction and relocation to new factory in Berg / Opf.

Construction of the first effluent-free pickling plant.

Development of a contact-free bearing for IT industry based on high-temperature superconductors.

Development and construction of first recycling unit for Si granule > 100 µm.

Sale of premises in Berg and relocation to new and bigger production site in Berching.

Development of the Asian market through sale of polysilicon chunk etching unit to China.

Further development of market share in the PV industry with large order from Taiwanese customer equal to total current annual turnover.

Launch of “cruSible”, a joint venture together with the three partner companies, Alztec GmbH, HK Präzisionstechnik GmbH and Centrotherm Sitec GmbH with the goal of establishing an automated turnkey solution for filling crystallisation crucibles.

Decker wins the Intersolar AWARD in the PV production engineering category for its recycling unit for Si granulate.
