Acquisition of “Iron Foundry Nürnberg-Mögeldorf” by the brothers Georg and Christian Decker.

1927
Start of electric steel production and renaming of company to "Gebrüder Decker Eisen- und Stahlgießerei"

Start of spheroidal graphite production.

1961
With the acquisition of Bäuml pickling systems, the cornerstone for plant manufacturing in the surface technology is laid.

1968
Mechanization of moulding shop for large work pieces with 100% recycling of moulding sand.

1979
Outsourcing of plant manufacturing to leased premises in Burgthann.

1982
Closure of foundry and sale of premises in Nuremberg.

1988
Construction and relocation to new factory in Berg / Opf.

1988
Construction of the first effluent-free pickling plant.

2000
Development of a contact-free bearing for IT industry based on high temperature superconductors.

2004
Acquisition of company shares from Mr. Schnyder by the Fuchs family via the operating company “DECKER Anlagenbau GmbH” and the holding company “Gebrüder Decker GmbH & Co. KG”.

Development and construction of first recycling unit for Si granule > 50 µm.

Sale of the company buildings in Berg and move to new and larger production areas in Berching.

Development of the Asian market through sale of polysilicon chunk etching unit to China.

Further development of market share in the PV industry through large order from Taiwanese customer equal to total current annual turnover.

2009
Market entry into North America.

2010
Launch of "cruSible", a joint venture together with three partner companies, Alztec GmbH, HK Präzisionstechnik GmbH and Centrotherm Sitec GmbH, with the goal of establishing an automated turnkey solution for filling crystallization crucibles (Advanced crucible charging system).g

Intersolar AWARD for the granulate etching system in the PV Production Engineering category

DECKER receives the industry award "Best of 2012" in the categrory "Energy and Environment"

Construction of several large-scale plating systems for body trim manufacturer and maker of aluminium structure parts in the automotive industry

Installation of a new combined pickling and crack detection line for a supplier to the aerospace industry

New development of a reel-to-reel electro polishing stainless steel system of Nickel-Tungsten strip for coating with nanoparticles

Construction of various fully automated plating plants and assembly lines for international customers

Design and assembly of several phosphatizing plants partly with fully automated loading and unloading position for two international automotive suppliers

DECKER celebrates ist 125th Company anniversary with a plating day including the live demonstration of five plating facilities in different states of Engineering - starting from pre-assembly up to automation testing -, solutions for fully automated process integration and presentations of well-known specialists in the field of plating engineering
